Celebrate the magic of the holiday season with a festive afternoon of flowers, gingerbread, and hot chocolate! Join For Floral Sake for Gingerbread & Blooms, a hands-on kids’ floral workshop where little flower lovers will create their own holiday bouquet in a gingerbread house box.
We'll combine fresh seasonal flowers, wintergreens, and festive accents to create a cheerful arrangement that feels just like the holidays. Along the way, kids can decorate gingerbread-themed stickers, enjoy delicious gingerbread cookies, and visit our hot chocolate bar for an extra-cozy winter treat.
Designed for kids who love flowers, crafts, and all things holiday, this indoor workshop is a fun way to get creative during the Minnesota winter. Beth, a former teacher turned florist, will guide participants step-by-step through the bouquet-making process, so no previous floral experience is needed.
Whether you're looking for a festive kids' activity near Duluth, a creative holiday outing with your little one, or a unique way to celebrate the season together, this workshop is all about making memories, enjoying a little holiday magic, and creating something beautiful to take home.

Minnesota winters can be unpredictable! If severe weather makes it unsafe to hold our Gingerbread + Blooms workshop in person, For Floral Sake may cancel or modify the event based on road conditions, weather advisories, and overall safety.
If the workshop must be canceled due to weather, registered participants will be notified as soon as possible. Instead of an in-person class, we’ll offer a take-home floral workshop kit, with materials available for delivery within our local service area during the week following the scheduled event. Kits will include the materials needed to create your holiday arrangement, along with instructions to help you complete your design at home.
If a participant chooses not to attend due to weather but the workshop is still proceeding as scheduled, registration fees are nonrefundable. Please contact us as early as possible if travel concerns arise, and we’ll do our best to help.
Our priority is keeping everyone safe while still giving you the opportunity to enjoy a little holiday creativity!
