Neutral tones, industrial charm, and bold floral moments came together beautifully in this fun and stylish wedding at the Clyde Malting Building, a historic warehouse turned modern industrial wedding venue in Duluth, Minnesota. With a neutral color palette warmed by pops of terracotta and a combination of orchids, roses, and lush greenery, this celebration was equal parts sophisticated and energetic.

A Modern Ceremony with Industrial Flair

The ceremony took place inside the Clyde’s expansive space, where white linens softened the industrial brick backdrop, creating a clean and refined canvas for the floral design. For the ceremony, a striking double triangle arch was adorned with fresh blooms placed at the top of each point—a design that felt both modern and grounded in nature.

Lining the aisle were gold floral stands, styled with asymmetrical flower arrangements at the corners and candles at the base. These impactful design pieces created a warm, romantic path for the couple and were later repurposed as reception centerpieces, a smart and sustainable design choice.

Statement Florals in White, Green & Terracotta

The bride’s bouquet was a showstopper—an all-white cascading arrangement featuring roses, ranunculus, and orchids, offering texture, drama, and elegance. The groom’s boutonniere echoed the simplicity and refinement of the bridal bouquet, tying their looks together seamlessly.

Bridesmaids wore terracotta-colored gowns that popped beautifully against the white ceremony draping and dark industrial textures of the venue. Each carried a greenery-filled bouquet with soft, flowing ribbons that added subtle movement and contrast to the bride’s all-white look.

The groomsmen wore navy suits with terracotta ties and pocket squares, creating a cohesive and complementary color story that tied in throughout the entire event.

From Ceremony to Chic Reception

Following the ceremony, the venue was transformed into a stunning reception space. Tables were decorated with candles, gold geometric shapes, and lush repurposed floral arrangements from the aisle. The greenery and blooms brought softness to the industrial lines of the venue, proving that even the most rugged spaces can feel romantic and inviting with the right floral details.

Throughout the evening, the couple’s energy and joy were contagious—exactly the kind of celebration that inspires creative floral design and intentional styling.
